Freak gym class accident left Texas teen nearly paralyzed
Katie Bivins, a Texas teen who was left nearly paralyzed after a freak gym accident, says that 'God has a plan for everyone, whether you like it or not.' Katie was injured after the rope she was climbing allegedly broke, and, according to her dad, was initially told by doctors that 'possibly she was not going to be able to be helped.' But she proved she had other plans, vowing to walk again in time for graduation with her classmates.
